Classical dance uses the same temple jewellery forms as a South Indian bride: the nethi chutti on the parting, surya and chandra pieces in the hair, a choker and a long haaram, jhumkas with ear chains, bangles and the oddiyanam at the waist. What a dancer needs on top is a set that is light, secure through fast movement, and identical across every student in a batch.
Who this is for
- Dance academies that dress a whole batch the same way for an arangetram, a recital or an annual day
- Costume and dance-material shops that sell sets to students
- Wholesalers supplying dance shops in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi and abroad
Our minimum is 200 pcs per design (400 for earrings and pendants), so this suits academies with large batches, shops and wholesalers rather than a single student.
What we make for dance
- Complete temple sets: nethi chutti, choker, long haaram, jhumkas, ear chains, bangles and oddiyanam
- Hair pieces: surya and chandra, rakodi, jada billai
- Kemp and pearl work in red, green or white combinations. See kemp jewellery wholesale
- Stage wear: tell us the order is for dance and we point you to the designs that suit long performances
Browse temple jewellery wholesale and the wholesale catalogue. For a set to your academy's own design, see custom design.
Timing
Production is about one month after you confirm. For an annual day or an arangetram season, enquire at least six to eight weeks ahead.
