Many buyers who search for the wholesale imitation jewellery market in Malad are really looking for the workshops that supply it. Mumbai's western suburbs, Malad, Kandivali and Borivali, are where a large share of the city's imitation jewellery is cast, plated and set. Jagruti Imitation Jewellery has manufactured here since 2005, near Vishvakarman Mandir, Hanumannagar, Kandivali East, a few minutes from Malad.
Why buy from a factory instead of a market shop
Market shops sell ready stock, often sourced from workshops like ours. Buying from the factory gives wholesalers:
- Factory rates, without a trader's margin
- Any design on order, with CAD proofs and changes to colour, size and stones
- Consistent re-orders from the same moulds and approved sample
- Video approval of ready stock before you pay the balance
- GST invoice on every order
We work at 200 pcs per design (400 for earrings and pendants). If you need a few pieces of many designs, a market shop suits you better; if you buy in hundreds per design, the factory is the better source. Read manufacturer vs wholesaler vs trader.
What we make here
Temple haarams, kemp chokers, Lakshmi necklace sets, vaddanam, jhumkas and pendant sets, plus Kundan, antique, oxidised and AD pieces made to your reference. See the wholesale catalogue.
Visiting the factory
Trade buyers can visit by appointment, Monday to Saturday, 10:30 to 19:30. Bring reference photos and the quantities you plan per design. Kandivali station on the Western Railway line and the Western Express Highway are both close by. If you are also visiting Zaveri Bazaar, many buyers do the market in the morning and our factory in the afternoon. Read Malad and Kandivali, Mumbai's workshop belt.
Buyers outside Mumbai
Most of our wholesale buyers never visit: they approve designs on WhatsApp, receive samples by courier and approve ready stock on video before dispatch.
